Assembly Resources to explore and celebrate the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games
An article exploring how to get an assembly from those quirky and interesting items of news in the world!
The Assemblies on this website are, at the moment, aimed mostly at pupils in Secondary Schools although the ideas and themes can be easily transferred to younger children if used with sensitivity and common sense! However, we are slowly adding Primary School Material, including an array of Mass Outlines and Class Prayers!
Most of these assemblies have been delivered to all year groups in various secondary schools and as such there is no Key Stage or Year Group recommendations for particular assemblies.
However, each assembly obviously needs to be adapted and delivered in different ways, according to the age group of the young people involved. We encourage you to use good old fashioned common sense in the choice, presentation and delivery of the assemblies!
We are still in the process of transferring pages from our old website which means that some assemblies, links and resources are temporarily unavailable, so please bear with us and return soon to see the updates and additions!
