However, there is a danger in thinking that they are simply people of 'yesterday.' The challenge lies in drawing out their relevance to young people today and to let the lives of the saints speak to us.
These assemblies are provided to explore and celebrate the saints, who have been and are members of God's Holy People, drawing out their colourful lives so that we can stand alongside them in our own circumstances of life.
The Calendar of the Church is full of colourful characters: people who have, in their own time, faithfully followed Jesus. They now stand as shining examples to us, their fellow disciples.
The following Liturgical Calendar of Seasons, Feasts and Saint's Days is a work in progress. If you discover any errors or omissions then please do let me know. At the moment, there are simply the bare bones!
